    Johnny Cash et Bob Dylan avaient une affection et un respect mutuels l'un pour l'autre.
    Les deux chanteurs sont responsables de la révolution des styles musicaux.
    Certaines chansons sont gravées dans l'histoire à cause de leur nom.
    Cet album comporte certaines de leurs premières compositions et nous rappelle pourquoi ils étaient / sont aussi célèbres qu'ils le sont été.
    Fabuleuses chansons de tous les deux.
    Très recommandé.

    Deux CD exposant deux chanteurs aussi connus que Johnny Cash et Bob Dylan, ne peuvent laisser insensible. Surtout des enregistrements d'époque ayant conservé leur spontanéité, en même temps que leurs (légers) défauts, la faute en revenant à la technologie d'époque

    Cette box CD est vraiment inutile pour ceux qui connaissent les deux stars. Il ne s'agit pas des chansons de Dylan ou Cash, mais d'une collection aléatoire de leurs titres. Cependant, pour un fan occasionnel, c'est une intéressante mélange de chansons anciennes de Dylan et quelques-uns des grands hits de Cash.

    Beaucoup de ces enregistrements sont 'nouveaux' pour moi. Il ne s'agit pas d'un album de duos mais plutôt d'enregistrements obscurs par Bob et Johnny compilés par le label Not Now records. C'est l'une de ces choses. Je peux peut-être lire trop dans les choses, mais ces chansons sont intemporelles et explorent les thèmes sombres et désespérés du folk et de la country de manière approfondie. Ils sont tous en face, je ne peux vraiment pas trouver un moment faible là-dedans. Encore une fois, c'est principalement nouveau pour moi, mais c'est touchant d'une façon très peu courante. C'est comme si les grands chanteurs étaient présents. Il n'a pas d'importance avec la qualité de l'enregistrement ou l'année dans des cas comme celui-ci. C'est tout à fait logique. Je suis heureux que quelqu'un fasse toujours sortir des CDs comme cela.
